
Elevate, a leading provider of innovative online credit solutions, announced that Carl Bartsch has joined the company as Chief Credit Officer. In this role, Bartsch will lead Elevate’s credit strategy and oversee the company’s credit risk management, underwriting approach, and portfolio performance efforts, supporting responsible growth and a strong customer experience. “Carl is a proven credit and risk leader with deep expertise spanning fintech, consumer finance, and data-driven underwriting,” said Jason Harvison, President and CEO of Elevate.
Bartsch brings more than two decades of experience across credit risk management and data analytics, including work with both traditional and alternative data, and leadership experience across start-ups and large enterprises. Most recently, he served as Chief Risk Officer and Head of Credit at Konfio, leading a team responsible for end-to-end credit extension functions across working capital loans and credit cards, as well as initiatives to improve efficiency through advanced analytics and automation.
